The City Attorney's Office represents the City of Blaine's interests and provides legal counsel. The city attorney provides representation on a case-by-case basis to the City of Blaine and its officers and employees relating to official city business.
To avoid conflicts of interest, the City Attorney's Office does not provide legal opinions on private matters that do not involve the City of Blaine or an officer, employee, or agent of the City of Blaine acting in their official capacity. Our attorneys do not represent private parties in civil or criminal City of Blaine matters.
