The City of Blaine is working on a “Visioning Plan” for the future of its park and trail system. The Park System Master Plan will be the first of its kind for the City of Blaine and will be used to help guide future improvements and aid in budgetary decisions. This planning document will include recommendations and implementation options to provide a 10- to 15-year vision for the city’s park and trail facilities including recreational facilities, special program uses, preservation areas, and community-wide trail linkages.
Over the next four to six months, public engagement opportunities will be facilitated to gain feedback from the community to better understand what the needs of the park and trail system are. Your feedback will help guide this planning effort by informing us what you value most in the community and what items could be improved upon or added to help improve the overall quality of the city’s park and trail system. Providing your input will be of great value.
An interactive map has been developed allowing visitors to select, drag, and drop icons to help the community provide feedback. In addition, community members can review what others are saying and like, dislike, or comment on other people's views. It's all a part of building on the conversation.
