Flu Shot Clinic

Seasonally the MAYC hosts a flu shot clinic sponsored by various businesses int he area. Advanced registration is required. Flu shots are available at no cost with most insurance providers. Face masks are required at all times while in the MAYC.

Foot Care Appointments

Mary T. Inc., offers 30 minute appointments at the senior center. The cost is $25. Advanced registration is required and a 24-hour cancellation notice is needed for a refund. Bring your own towel. Face masks are required at all times while in the MAYC.

Health Insurance Counseling

Specified Mondays Each Month, 2:30PM, by Appointment

An appointment for assistance with your health insurance questions can be made with the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging by calling 1-800-333-2433. This is a free service to seniors residing in Anoka County.

1st Tuesday Each Month, 11:15AM - 12:15PM, by Appointment

3rd Wednesday Each Month, by Appointment

Property Tax/Rent Credit Assistance

Late April and Early May, Check Calendar

Bring your federal 1040 form or records showing previous year’s total household income. Homeowners should bring a copy of their real estate tax statement. Renters bring your certificate of rent paid (CRP). Any questions, call Tricia Lehti at 763-422-7090.

Senior Dining

Monday thru Friday, Noon

Delicious, nutritious meals sponsored by the Volunteers of America Senior Nutrition Program, these meals are $4 for those age 60 or more, and the cost is $7 for those under age 60. Register three business days in advance to secure a meal.  Menus are available.

Tax Assistance

February 1 thru April 15, by Appointment

Held seasonally at our site for Anoka County residents who meet the criteria, with preference for seniors 60 and over.
