Property owners and/or local manager/authorized agents renewing an existing rental license must setup an iMS User Account before continuing with the license renewal process.

Search and Renew

Once you have gathered or emailed the necessary documents, you are ready to begin the online application renewal process.

1. Login to the Blaine iMS and search by Address
   Search by Address (BlaineMN.gov/iMSSearchByAddress)

2. After choosing the correct address and the renewal screen appears, select the orange Renew button to continue with the renewal process.

Please note the following:

• Once the application is started, the system will not allow you to go back to a previous page, you must continue through the entire application.
• Once you have completed and uploaded all required documents, a review page allows you to go back and edit any part of the application.
• Any question or upload with a red asterisk (*) is required.

Review and Payment

• Fees will be calculated during the renewal process.
• Rental license holders having three consecutive years with no violations, qualify for a reduced fee.
• After completion of the application and payment submittal, the review process will begin.

Inspections

• Upon approval, an email will be sent, and if applicable, an inspection will be scheduled.
• Single family properties require an interior inspection every three years and an exterior inspection every year.
