Program Goal: To provide financial incentives for owners of rental properties to improve exterior appearance and reduce burden on city services through installation of security and fire prevention and suppression.
Renter occupied homes located in the City of Blaine with 1-12 units and at least 30 years old.
Previously completed projects are not eligible.
All work must be completed after a grant agreement has been executed by the homeowner and the City.
1-12 unit rental properties. Single units of condos or townhomes occupied by renters are eligible. Property must have a passing result on the most recent rental inspection, or be rectifying the violation(s) as part of the project.
