Description
Roers Companies is proposing to redevelop the vacant Rainbow grocery store (551 87th Lane NE) by removing the building and constructing a 196-unit apartment building. The proposed apartment is two “L” shaped buildings that are connected in the middle by a single-story clubhouse/amenity building. The building is four-stories over one-story parking garage that will be partially below grade. The apartments will consist of a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom units.
The public hearing for the proposal will be at the November 9, 2022 Planning Commission meeting, the anticipated City Council meeting dates are November 21, 2022 and December 5, 2022.
