A variety of bingo games are played such as "X," birthday cake, small picture frame, "L," and many others, as well as regular bingo and four corners. After approximately one hour of play, coverall begins and the ante is raised per card with the winner(s) getting the total collected in the cup.
Progressive 500 Cards
No advanced registration necessary unless it is a scheduled tournament. Each player puts $1 in the collection and it is used for refreshments, coffee supplies and cash pay backs. Players draw a table number to begin the game. Four hands are played with a scorekeeper from each team recording the points. Bids of 7, 8, or 9 with the bidder making all 10 tricks gets an extra 100 points added to their score. This is called a "sweep."
If a bid is not made, bidding team takes a "set" and 100 points are added to the opponents' score as well as 10 points for each "trick" taken. After four hands of play, teammates draw for "high" or "low" card and match it with the "high" or "low" draw when they begin the next round. Winners move progressively toward the "head table," (from table 8 to table 7 to table 6, etc.) all the way to table 1. Once you reach the "head table," winners stay and change partners each round, while the losers travel to the last table. Prior to the start of each game, all players shall draw for deal and the high card wins the deal.
