Transportation Plan

Purpose

This Transportation Plan will serve as the updated Transportation Element of the City of Blaine Comprehensive Plan. The focus of the Transportation Plan is multi-modal and encompasses:

  • Aviation
  • Bicycle and pedestrian systems
  • Freight and goods movement
  • Land use
  • Roadways
  • Transit

Plan Implementation

The Comprehensive Plan was completed in 1999 and submitted for approval to the Metropolitan Council. The Transportation Plan will be submitted to the City Council and, upon their acceptance of the plan, will ultimately also be submitted to the Metropolitan Council.
