About the Board

The Senior Advisory Board was established by the Blaine City Council to recommend programs and services for seniors of Blaine. It is the intent of the Board to make every effort to provide equal program opportunities for all Blaine area seniors. The Senior Advisory Board also recommends guidelines for use of the Mary Ann Young Center.

The Council appoints boardmembers to serve two-year terms and interested members can be reappointed.  There is no established limit to the number of members who can serve on the Board and two members of Council are appointed as liaisons.
