Dog Licenses
Ordinance
Every dog in the City of Blaine over the age of six months is required to be licensed. Residents moving into the city have 30 days to purchase a dog license. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for the dog is required to obtain a dog license. The fee for the license is $10.
The period of time a dog license is valid is two years depending on date of purchase. The City of Blaine ordinance allows three dogs to be licensed at an individual residence.

Obtain A Dog License
A dog license can be obtained several ways.
By Mail
If requesting a dog license by mail, please complete the Dog License Application Form (PDF) and mail it to:

Please include the proof of current rabies certificate or copy of along with a check for $10 made out to the City of Blaine. The certificate of rabies, paper license and dog tag will be returned by mail.
In Person
Dog licenses can be obtained in person at Blaine City Hall in the Police Department during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.
