MnDOT, in partnership with Anoka County and the cities of Blaine, Ham Lake, and Spring Lake Park, began a far-reaching study of the Highway 65 corridor in August 2018. The project team looked at dozens of potential solutions for Highway 65 and used community input to help identify the options that best address the primary problems of the area – vehicle safety and vehicle congestion.
The team has identified three potential corridor options that will move forward into the final study report. But first, the project team wants to hear from those who travel the corridor. The feedback received will be included in the study findings and will help influence future funding decisions for this vital infrastructure improvement in Blaine. A virtual open house has been created for interested individuals to view the corridor concepts and to give feedback. The virtual open house will be available until the end of September.
