In 2022 the City of Blaine completed a master planning study for the 105th Avenue corridor near the National Sports Center. This area has been identified for the development of a city core and entertainment district. In November the City Council interviewed four developers that had submitted proposals to the City for this area. In December the City entered into an agreement with Elevage/Bader Development Groups to be the master developer for this project. Preliminary work on the development is expected to begin in 2023.
