The City of Blaine is looking into the future when it comes to street projects. The City typically looks ahead five years when planning road construction projects. Projects are then reviewed on an annual basis and the Blaine City Council ultimately decides if a project moves forward into construction. The next five years will see proposed projects all over the City but a large number of projects are projected to be completed on the west side of Highway 65.
The five year plan is not set in stone and proposed projects are reviewed each year. Project schedules are subject to change and projects are only approved one year at a time. In August the City Council approved the 2024 projects. Some projects are not included on this plan as they may be County or State projects.
