- Granted final plat approval to subdivide 2.5 acres into 45 townhome lots to be known as Harpers Landing Second Addition on the northwest corner of Harpers Street and 125th Avenue NE.

Blaine Business Council Highlights Public Safety On April 28, the quarterly Blaine Business Council highlighted public safety efforts within the City of Blaine with presentations from Chief Brian Podany of the Blaine Police Department and Fire Chief Charlie Smith of the Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire Department.
Chief Podany and Chief Smith provided insight into how they keep the Blaine community safe.
This quarter’s featured business was the Metro Gun Club who shared their history and partnerships in within the community. The local school districts and City’s Economic Development staff also provided updates to attendees.
The next Blaine Business Council will take place on July 7 at 7:30AM at the TPC. All members of the Blaine business community are welcome to attend. No RSVP needed.

Economic Development Summit was Held on May 12The Blaine Economic Development Authority hosted Blaine’s first Economic Development Summit on May 12. Developers, brokers, bankers, businesses, and economic development multipliers from around Minnesota came together to learn about the City’s strategic mission and vision for the future and what makes Blaine a premier destination for new businesses. Blaine’s major redevelopment initiatives at Northtown and 105th and Nassau were highlighted as well as other areas within the City that have been classified as key development areas in the City’s strategic plan.
