Plan a Sober Ride

The Super Bowl is this Sunday, if you are going to a party or out to a local establishment be responsible and be sure to plan a sober ride.

There will be extra DUI patrols out across the state.

Using Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, or Metro Transit are a great resource and will help keep the roadways safe.

Carbon Monoxide Safety

While it might be tempting especially with the recent cold snap please do not warm your car up while it is parked in the garage.

Carbon Monoxide can unknowingly creep inside and create a dangerous situation.

Here to Help

One of our more common type of calls officers receive are lift assists. People with mobility issues may experience a fall in their home and are unable to get themselves upright or back into their mobility device.

Please don’t hesitate to call and ask for assistance, officers and firefighters are glad to respond. Even in winter if you slip and fall while walking the dog and are unable to get up, call 9-1-1 and ask for help. Officers will gladly assist you and your pet with returning home safely.
