22-05: 89th Avenue and Davenport Area Street Reconstructions

Location

• Baltimore Street from 85th Avenue to 89th Avenue
• Davenport Street from 85th Avenue to 89th Avenue
• 89th Avenue from Central Avenue (MN-65) to Davenport Street
• 87th Avenue from Central Avenue (MN-65) to Hastings Street
• Eldorado Street from 85th Avenue to 87th Avenue
• Goodhue Street from 85th Avenue to 87th Avenue
• Goodhue Street from 87th Avenue to northerly dead end
• Jenkins Court from 85th Avenue to the cul de sac

Project Status as of 9/15/2023

The project consists of five phases, which can be seen on the project phasing map below. Phase 1 was completed in 2022, with phases 2-5 being constructed in 2023.

Phase 1

Construction completed in 2022.

Phase 2

Construction completed in 2023.

Phase 3

Construction completed in 2023.

Phases 4-5

Construction during the week of September 18 will include:

• Installation of the first lift of bituminous pavement
• Installation of the final lift of bituminous pavement on select streets where base pavement was previously installed and boulevard restoration has been completed.

23-06: Northwest Area Street Reconstruction

• 127th Avenue from cul-de-sac to Polk Street
• 127th Lane from Monroe Street to Polk Street
• 128th Avenue from Taylor Street to Polk Street
• 129th Lane from 175 feet west of Tyler Street to Polk Street
• Tyler Street from 127th Lane to 129th Lane
• Polk Street from 126th Avenue to cul-de-sac

Project Area 2

• 131st Avenue (E) from Van Buren Street to Taylor Street

Project Area 3

• 131st Avenue (W) from Jefferson Street to Van Buren Street

Project Status as of 9/15/2023

The project consists of two phases, which can be seen on the project phasing map.

Construction activities during the week of September 18 will include:

• Irrigation system repairs
• Boulevard grading and restoration

• 90th Lane from Zumbrota Street to Rice Creek Parkway
• Bataan Street from 90th Lane to 91st Avenue
• Yancy Street from Rice Creek Parkway to 89th Lane

Project Status as of 9/15/2023

The project consists of four project areas, which can be seen on the project phasing map. Project newsletters were mailed out on Friday, May 19.

Project Area 1

Construction activities during the week of September 18 will include:

• Boulevard grading and restoration

Project Area 2

Construction has been completed.

Project Area 3

Construction has been completed in project area 3 except for minor punch list items.

Project Area 4

Construction has been completed in project area 4 except for minor punch list items.
