Police Share Cup of Coffee with Residents

National Coffee with a Cop Day

The Blaine Police Department participated in National Coffee with a Cop day on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Chief Brian Podany and other members of the Blaine Police Department stopped in at McDonald’s at 12401 Ulysses St NE. McDonald’s provided free coffee and chocolate chip cookies for those in attendance. Rep. Tom Emmer also stopped by to chat with the officers and Chief Podany.

Coffee with a Cop is a nationwide effort to help connect law enforcement officers with residents in the communities that they serve. Knowing that coffee is not for everyone the Blaine Police Department has expanded this community engagement event to other locations such as Northtown Mall, an ice cream shop and the library.

Join us at our next event: Pop with a Cop on Thursday, Oct. 11 at The Hub at Northtown Mall from 6:30PM to 7:30PM.
