The City Forester will take a look at it. If the tree is determined to be hazardous, we will request the property owner to remove it within 10 days. A hazardous tree is defined as a tree that poses an imminent danger.

3. How close can I plant a tree to my property line?

You can plant a tree anywhere on your property, but the City recommends a minimum of 5 feet from the property line.

4. I am building a new home in Blaine. What are the landscape requirements?
